Founder’s Welcome
When I founded the National AI Council – NAIC, my goal was simple: to ensure that the rapid advancements in AI technology were not just groundbreaking, but also ethically grounded. AI has the potential to transform industries, elevate human experiences, and solve complex global challenges. However, without proper guidance, this technology could deepen inequalities and cause unintended harm. I wanted to create a community that could harness AI’s power while advocating for fairness, transparency, and responsible use.
At the National AI Council, we believe that AI should be developed with a human-centric approach, ensuring that these technologies respect individual rights, promote societal benefits, and avoid harm. We bring together industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to collaborate on frameworks and guidelines that shape the responsible future of AI. The importance of diversity in AI cannot be overstated, which is why we also prioritize initiatives that promote inclusion within AI development teams.
I encourage all of you to engage with the NAIC’s resources, training programs, and events. Together, we can build a future where AI innovation is synonymous with ethical responsibility and inclusivity. Join us as we embark on this exciting and transformative journey.
Regards,
Dennis Kennedy
